We represented Qualcomm in this multidistrict litigation case in the Southern District of Ohio and subsequently on appeal. In the district court, we obtained a summary judgment ruling of non-infringement for Qualcomm.   R+L Carriers appealed the matter to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). The CAFC affirmed the lower Court’s decision dismissing Qualcomm from the case because the patent could not support a claim for damages against Qualcomm. R+L Carriers, Inc. v. Qualcomm, Inc.
