William F. Bullard is a fierce advocate in and out of court who has successfully represented local and national companies. He specializes in intellectual property litigation and due diligence at Carlson Caspers. He is passionate about understanding the client’s technology and has experience in many different industries, including telecommunications, off-road vehicles, wireless communication, power equipment, software, and 3D printing.
Across his practice, William focuses on providing cost-effective solutions. He has experience winning early resolutions of claims and constraining the cost of litigation with discovery best practices. For example, as counsel for a large Minnesota company, William recently obtained a rare dismissal with prejudice of many of the opposing party’s claims at the initial pleading stage. William prioritizes strong legal briefing and oral argument and has argued numerous motions before the local judges.
William represents plaintiffs and defendants and has experience in many forums, including Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Florida, and the ITC. He has experience in patent, trademark, trade secret, and contract law. Minnesota Lawyer named William as an Attorney of Year, 2023.
