Our client Cardinal was sued by Guardian for infringement of their patent related to low-emissivity glass. After review of the patent at issue, Carlson Caspers attorneys requested an Inter Partes Reexamination before the USPTO. The Examiner rejected the patent claims at issue which was affirmed on appeal by the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences thereby dismissing the original lawsuit.
